Only about half of our employees have received a letter stating that their policy has been cancelled. We are wondering why that is the case and anticipating that the policies will be cancelled, mainly because we have an HRA instead of all of that money going to the premiums. However, we are fortunate in that we have found a policy with another company that will wind up providing us with about the same benefits, at about a 2% decrease in premiums. What I'm hearing across the board, among the small private schools in our area who provide insurance, is about the same, the old policy is cancelled, the new policy provides more and costs less.
