From CAN's POV they must be pretty wimpy Muslims, if they sued instead of blowing up a car. FWIW I have no idea whether the outfit in question actually supports "terrorist training camps inside the United States".

OK, I get where you are going with that. It is also fair to say the Protestant Irish participated in violence at different times as well (just to be fair.) The Orange Order in Ireland was known for some pretty militant Protestantism. So this was not just an IRA/Catholic problem.

IRA terror was localized in England and Ireland and had a historical antecedent that involved the UK and Northern Ireland and sub-groups in those areas.

Islamic terrorists have attacked innocents in countries all over the world (Bali, Israel, US, Kenya, Yemen, India, Spain, UK, et al). I am perfectly agreeable for you to point out the similarities if you are agreeable to pointing out the substantial differences.
