"God's Will" -- reason for Iraq invasion

Never heard this before. The Richard Cohen (Washington Post) column in this morning's newspaper, contains a quote from a book by Kurt Eichenwald called 500 Days. President George W. Bush was telling President Jacques Chirac "This confrontation is willed by God, who wants us to use this conflict to erase His people's enemies before a new age begins.

If this is true, Shrub thought he was acting on behalf of GOD! Was he really that demented? Where is Molly Ivins when we need her.
