I'm all for corparations being treated as individuals as long as corparations play by the same rules as real flesh and blood individuals.
If I kill someone through deliberate action or carelessness, I'm in deep trouble. If a corparation kills someone by selling him or her poison as big tobacco does, the company at most pays a fine. There are two ways to treat the corparation guilty of a criminal offense. The first is to put the CEO on trial for the offense. If guilty of causing someone's death by pre-meditated action, put CEO on trial for murder. If convicted send CEO to prison for life. OR put the whole corparation to death by closing it down and selling all the assets. Monies realized from death sales could be split between the victims or go to the government.
