Is this our Todd -- race baiting?

I found this story on line. Perhaps Todd would like to defend himself here, since he is one of our members.

I'm moving this to the Politics forum since it doesn't appear to have anything to do with being Baptist (Southern or otherwise). But I would invite Todd's response there.

Ed: Ah! Hauro, I think Todd Starnes is still Southern Baptist and has a particular following among them.

On the other hand Chris, I find nothing by or about T. Starnes on Wind.com

Is "Wind.com" a nickname for newshounds.com or something? If so, the link Chris gave does indeed go directly to an article about T. Starnes; if not, then what is it and why do you mention it in this context? The actual wind.com is a site about renewable energy resources, but Chris did not refer to it nor say that it referred to Todd...

I agree that Todd is still SB and has a particular following among them, but I don't see any reference in the article to his baptistness per se. I could be wrong, but it looks to me like it focuses on him as a right-wing Republican, not as a religionist. In any event, Chris PM'd me favorably about the move.

Ed: I was questioning the URL given just after the story linked by Chris. (not sure if that is a comments section or what)

Can some one give me a link to what Todd wrote, rather than what some one says he wrote.

I interacted with Todd for a while on Twitter. We exchanged tweets during football season about RG3 and Baylor.

Long story short, Todd blocked me on Twitter after I challenged him politely on a couple of things.

I don't know how he is on Fox News. But on Twitter, he's about the most anti-Obama person there is. He's more anti-Obama than Mitt Romney (who I follow on Twitter as well!).

I'm sure many folks - if they disagree with Todd's politics - have a hard time reading his Tweets. He's snarky to the extreme.

That said, I follow many conservatives on Twitter and enjoy their postings, including their anti-Obama postings. Todd is in a league of his own.

I guess I missed someone. I don't remember a "Todd" being very active here.

It's been awhile, and he was never very active, but he was occasionally posting at some point a few years ago. Will see if I can dig 'em up.

He is actually a quadruple member of the board! He registered in 2004 as todd1028 but never posted as such, then reregistered a month later as todds and posted 3 times in that guise. He posted 22 times as ToddStarnes111 in October and November of 2006, and two more times as toddstarnes, once in 2007 and once in 2009. All four memberships appear to be active; seems like each time his email changes he reregisters instead of updating his User Control Panel... Todd, if you're reading this, go ahead and use one of your existing aliases rather than joining a fifth time. ;-) If you don't remember your password and/or no longer have any of those emails, send me email at lilandbr@scn.org and I'll be happy to update you to something current.

If Todd were a journalist who knew much about journalism, he would certainly know that World Net Daily, along with Newsmax, and a host of other internet media outlets don't put out facts. They are electronic tabloids.

Ed: And perhaps Todd's reason for multiple registrations, and the many folk who just disappear, has to do with the quirkiness of this site's password retrieval. And Hauro note if one can not sign in, they do not still have access to to the User Control Panel?
If one moves and change servers or have your computer worked on or use a hotel computer where your password is not stored, it seems you have to get a new password. A couple times I have almost gotten frustrated enough trying to reset my password I have been tempted to give up but I do have Bruce's and a couple of the moderators e-mail in my mailing list. Bruce has rest my password for me at least three times, maybe more. For a few years I did keep one that he set for me in 2007. The last time he sat it to something I requested but did not write down and do not recall. So I can not use my tablet when we travel. Fortunately Trudy often has her lap top.
