Parham's exceptions to Richard Land and that of BDWeaver on plagiarism in my mind miss a much bigger point. Weaver in particular may be a distraction cause in some way it is something of a nit pick.
Don't misunderstand, I am no fan of Karl Rove's puppet, Richard Land.
Stan Hastey had Land's number as early as 1982, when Land told Hastey, the conservatives were only concerned with a few tweaks on abortion and school prayer, and the rest of the social issues would work themselves out.
To Quote the S.C. Congressman: He Lied.
The bigger question in this mess, is how does Land navigate the race history of leading SBC takeover folks Jesse Helms, Albert Lee Smith, Paul Pressler and the deacons of Bellevue Baptist while Adrian Rogers was pastor, even Jerry Vines Birch Society influenced West Rome Baptist of the 60's and 70's.
There is a matter of degree to be sure in this swamp of Bapstist history and Race.
But clearly the inerrantists have a history they don't want to talk about.
BDW and Bruce Gourley should be exploring the mater with Chandler Davidson and Tim Tyson
