I would agree that Bachmann seems to have a somewhat distorted view of American culture---as do many. Sara Palin is another of these air-heads!

As always, it is more than funny!!!! Kathy came from a Catholic background with a mother who cusses like a sailor when admonishing her to get her religious life together. Frankly, I bet she has more real religion---and certainly a sense of humor---than her mother ever knew.

So one book about one person involved in that event forms a person's "version" of the second most pivotal event in American history? Nothing about the contents of the book or if it is a good biography. Guilt by association is what you're championing here. As usual, avoiding substance. The title to this thread borders on untruth and I'm not sure it cannot be called just plain deceit. You present nothing, absolutely nothing, that provides any evidence for Bachman's "version" of the Civil War. Nothing she's said or written, just an implication based on what another person has written about the author of a book she once read and recommended.

Yet in other threads you will accuse any conservative which you can name of distorting facts and other misrepresentations. However, you manage in both instances to hold true to form and not present anything of substance, just accusations or implications.
