This story is not written about Flynt, but about his hometown. A Furman classmate of mine, Dudley Reynolds, a Rhodes Scholar nominee now head of Alabama Power is from Anniston; and Anniston Star Editor Brandt Ayers and his family have a national reputation in the newspaper business.
