That at one time the presidents of The Northern Baptist Convention, now (ABC-USA) and of Southern Baptist Convention where from the same congregation? Do you know what church that was and who the two men where? Bonus if you know the year.

Clarence Cranford (1957-1958) as President of the American Baptist Convention, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in DC.

Brooks Hays (1957-1958) as President of the SBC

Hays and Cranford traveled to Russia together on a peace mission.

I've seen Hays described as a member of Calvary. Obviously, Calvary claims him. But this in Baptist Press says that Hays held membership at a church in Little Rock but attended Calvary while in DC.
