Separation of Church and State, a New Volume

For those interested in to those interested in the Baptist and American heritage of separation of church and state, I recommend a new volume, Wellspring of Liberty: How Virginia's Religious Dissenters Helped Win the American Revolution and Secured Religious Liberty. Those acquainted with Baptist history will see a lot of familiar ground, but the author does a good job of tying together primary sectarian and secular documents, plus his analysis of English thought is quite interesting.
