WA Criswell's Last Revival

I am sure many of us have other views of Criswell than this piece of hagiography in the Christian Index by Gerald Harris and Jack Pogue.

I just gave it a cursory read but saw no reference to Joel Gregory's book.

Great article about a great man of God who impacted the world for Christ in so many ways. Thanks for posting the link Stephen.

With all the time you have maybe you can go to the Criswell library and listen to the 4000+ sermons posted there. I know it will bless you.

I have. Just posted on David Currie's facebook wall a few minutes ago to challenge him to read.

I'm rereading now and the chapter Judge Lynch and Jim Crow is riveting.

Criswell knew his Browning, the poet, but clearly had more in common with Frank Norris than George Washington Truett, and I think the Cathy's and Chic Fil A understand the difference.
