Can any more details be given about topics, papers at the conference this year? It's actually close by for once and I'd love to go if I can arrange it. Also, what are deadlines for registering?

According to the BH&HS promotion the Association of Librarians and Archivists at Baptist Institutions will also be Participating.

But what have I missed, if Sioux City is "Close by" For you? Are you no longer in or near Elkhart, Indiana, attending the Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary?

So most of the rest of the conference has been . Kind of disappointed "other baptists" won't include anabaptists.

Blake, my apologies for a tardy reply. No one submitted any papers on Anabaptists, but there is certainly a wide diversity of topics notwithstanding. Join us if you can.

Well if you hear any more about Anabaptists, let me know I seem to be gravitating toward my Mennonite Brethren leanings lately. Was member of church for 10 years and have been taking courses from Christian Light Publishing.

While I can understand Sioux Falls University wanting to be in on this, are there actually any CBF folk in South Dakota?

Looking at the website the society appears to be mostly CBF based on their list of partners. Sioux Falls is Baptist General Conference but a lot of ABC people in this area attend Sioux Falls. I've been up there a couple of times for conferences when I was in the ABC. It is only 90 miles from here but I don't get there often.

While CBF Baptists may be the most visible partner, BH&HS works with many Baptist groups; any given year, there are Southern Baptists, American Baptists, National Baptists and others on our program, in addition to CBF Baptists. Sioux Falls represents an opportunity for BH&HS to venture outside the South for a conference (as happens every so often), at the invitation of North American Baptists. In 2015, we are partnering with National Baptists and will meet at American Baptist College in Nashville.
