I respect Harrison on his thinking. I too believe that CBF has tried to be too much to too many different constituencies. The glue still must be missions, IMHO, and that must be the focus. Too much is focused in scattered directions at present.

Ed: Dave, You an Ircel reflect the thinking of many with whom I talked to on the past few days. The same
theme was repeated by a number of folk in the 2012 task force listening session that I attended. Now the question seems to be how can it be turned around. There where some good suggestions how we might tap into
more of the non faith based benevolent organizations looking for worthy causes. Three members of the task force where in that session. Also another sat in on our Baptist Fellowship of the Northeast meeting.
