Arrested Cuban Pastors Have Ties to CBF

The story of the two arrested Cuban Baptist pastors has been all over the news. Here is from Lakeland, Florida's Ledger, discussing the ties of the pastors to Florida CBF.

All the more reason to emphasize to your church members to be very careful when you write or e-mail to missionaries in other countries that you don't make some flippant remark that could get them into trouble. Here in the U.S. we are free to argue back and forth about our leaders and make some pretty nasty attacks on their personal habits or family without fear of a knock on our door in the middle of the night and getting a ride to prison. Most governments in this world are not as tolerant, and many don't want missionaries in their country in the first place.
