Marian Wright Edleman was a very good speaker at NBC #1. And her book The Sea is So Wide and My Boat is So Small is excellent.

Tony Campolo always gives a rousing speech.

Jimmy Carter a reasoned speech.

Rosalynn - I have not heard her speak that I remember.

The rest I have not heard of. Can anyone fill me in?

Are you going Ed? Is anyone going? I'm not sure at this point.

Yes we will be attending in Phily on the 17th & 18th. Have to be back here on the 19th for Our Associational meeting. I was surprised to find that of the 19 people in the picture with Jimmy Carter I am personally acquainted with 5 of them and also had the opportunity to speak at length with Jimmy Allen when he visited the NBC display in the ABC resource center during CBF/ABC meeting in D.C. in 2007. I have and have had a couple occasions to shake the presidents hand. The first time was when I received my degree from SBTS, he was there as the featured speaker, another was at a book signing at one of the Atlanta CBF meetings. I have been a fan of Dr. Allan since his days as president of the ACTS TV network. That is my pick for Daniels replacement standing next to the president, to his right. There are at least three who have been on these boards.
