Provocative front page story in Greenville SC NEW. BLM

Black Lives Matter is networked to several upstart groups in Greenville and the criminal backgrounds of several are profiled.

Tensions between the old guard, many of them clergy, and millennial "passionate" newcomers are explored.

Facebook comments at the news site are pretty heated.

Key Baptist leaders in the Upstate include Baxter Wynn at FBC Greenville, nephew of Lester Maddox; and 20 miles away in Spartanburg Bailey Edwards Nelson, an upper eschelon member of the New Baptist Covenant, now the pastor of Fernwood Baptist Church.

Ed: Steve, how does Baily Edwards Nelson fit into "the upper eschelon of the New Baptist Covenant"? I do know she has long been active in the Movement and is a close friend of Hannah McMahan but since the NBC gets little media attention up here I have lost track of the formal structure. I hope they have an organizational chart in the hand out material in Atlanta.
