Furman's Marshall Frady would be proud of Judy Clarke

I have to believe as much.

I was acquainted with Clarke at Furman but knew her husband Speedy Rice much better.

This is a remarkable profile in the New Yorker, very much worth your time to slog through the entire piece.

Jesse Helms plays a key role as many who know Clarke's story already know
