Bleaching in the Alabama Legislature

Postby Stephen Fox » Thu Sep 04, 2014 4:50 pm

The recent cover story about the New Racism in the New Republic should be of concern to the Baptist Covenant movement.

It goes to the heart of the legacy of Wayne Flynt in Alabama, is framed to some extent by a Hal Crowther summer 2013 Oxford American Review the New South Revisited and In Love with Defeat, as well as to the guts of the Southeastern Football conference.

Mike Hubbard, Bleaching expert and speaker of the House for the State of Alabama has tentacles in all

Gadsden Times oped resents Bama as "Third World"

Postby Stephen Fox » Wed Sep 24, 2014 3:53 pm

Mr. Floyd apparently didn't read the New Republic article to which he is replying. The Third World comment was upshot from pictures taken by the Baylor College of Medicine examination of raw sewage in Ft Depost, Alabama a mile from the City Hall

I plan to offer a rebuttal to this piece. Have talked with Gadsden Times Editor, Greg Bailey

Iron Bowl may be Exhibit A of Underbelly of SEC

Whatever the merits or demerits of the Black Lives Matter movement or the recent role of the football team at Missouri changing the school administration, for sure Baptist Covenant should take on the conversation with a focus on Mike Hubbard at Auburn and the political strategy in Alabama.

Mark Willson of FBC Auburn has saturated the state through the Auburn Democracy Project networked to the Diversity movement there.

He is influential member of FBC Auburn with Wayne Flynt.

Let's hope Covenant movement hits this Atlantic article without flinching and lets have a thoroughgoing conversation about the politics of football in the Southeast with a focus on Auburn and Mike Hubbard.

Week of May 18, Bama in Wash Post

It's an easy google for comments by Wayne Flynt

And on the nitty gritty ground here is my take on Trump, Bama radio and Russ Moore of the SBC ERLC with matters that go to the heart of the Baptist Covenant

For that see my blog on Rick and Bubba and the Atwater Memo
