I'm trying to get friends in Americus and Plains to bring her Apostles of Reason to President Carter's attention. I think Furman's new president Elizabeth Davis will be reading as soon as she can make time. See SBC Trends here at this site for much more on Molly and her book endorsed by Notre Dame's Mark Noll, and the ascendant Darren Dochuk. Randall Balmer should have a review in Christian Century soon

About This Presentation
Too often pundits and scholars misunderstand America's culture wars as a simple clash between conservative Christians and secular liberals. In this presentation, Professor Worthen will discuss the diversity and disagreement within conservative Christianity, and how civil war within evangelical Protestant ranks has shaped American politics.
