Due to the overwhelming number of spambots bombarding the BaptistLife.Com Forums with fake registrations in recent years, in order to register for the Forums, you must send an email to apply (at) Include your real name (or a portion of your real name), and briefly state why you want to join the Forums.

Sure, if you post them in the Baptist Life & Practice Forum they'll get the widest range of responses. We have people here covering the gamut from IFB and Landmarkism to Alliance and AWAB, though the bulk are probably "slightly left of center" Southern Baptists, which is to say "liberals" by the IFB/Landmark scale and "troglodytes" from the Alliance/AWAB perspective. It would be helpful if you were to disclose your own religious background, so that we can try to provide what the software folks might call "localization" of our responses.
